What is included in the Free plan?
RedPing Essential Free includes account access, one Manual SOS every 24 hours, last ping and live location context, personal and medical details, up to five emergency contacts, readiness guidance, and CarPlay plus Apple Watch on supported SOS iOS builds.
What does Essential+ add over Free?
Essential+ adds unlimited Manual SOS, ACFD Beta, SOS SMS and SOS testing, background monitoring, travel contexts, and up to ten emergency contacts on top of Essential Free.
Which plan is needed for SAR participation?
RedPing Pro is the first SAR-enabled plan. SAR app access, RedPing Help, mission participation, dashboard write actions, and live SOS visibility require the RedPing SAR app. Those flows remain blocked inside the SOS app even on Pro.
What is Track Me and which plans include it?
Track Me is a voluntary scheduled safety recorder on RedPing SOS. It saves time or distance snapshots to your in-app track recorder — not continuous live map tracking. Pro includes Track Me; Family admins can start Track Me while Essential+ household seats use Check-In Ping.
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are sold through Stripe checkout. iOS may offer Apple Pay at checkout, but billing is not native App Store in-app purchase. New accounts start on Free with no automatic trial on signup; paid tiers may offer a 14-day trial where wired.
What is the current status of Ultra?
Ultra remains coming soon at TBA pricing. It should not be sold or presented as currently purchasable until scope and pricing are finalized.
How does the Family bundle work?
RedPing Family bundles one Pro admin seat with three Essential+ seats. The admin gets SAR, Help, and Track Me on SOS. Invited members receive Essential+ entitlements only and do not inherit the admin Pro SAR seat.
How should limited connectivity be described?
RedPing supports a mix of online, SMS-based, cached, and supported off-grid guidance depending on device, carrier, subscription tier, and signal path. It remains an emergency communication app and does not replace local emergency services.
