REDP!NG SOS/SAR PRIVACY POLICY

1. SCOPE

This Privacy Policy applies to REDP!NG SOS/SAR mobile applications and related services, including Android and iOS builds, and connected cloud services used to deliver safety and emergency coordination functionality.

REDP!NG (we, us, our) provides features such as SOS activation, emergency contact alerting, location sharing, SAR coordination workflows, account management, and subscription features.

REDP!NG is a communication and coordination tool and does not itself provide emergency dispatch, ambulance, police, or rescue operations.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 ACCOUNT AND PROFILE DATA

Name, email address, phone number, and account identifiers
Account settings and preferences
Emergency contacts configured by the user
Optional emergency profile details entered by the user (for example responder notes, allergies, conditions, blood type, or medications)

2.2 LOCATION DATA

Precise location (GPS) when enabled by the user and device permissions
Approximate location when only coarse permission is granted
Location updates during active safety and emergency workflows
Location context needed for maps, hazard context, and rescue coordination

2.3 DEVICE, SENSOR, AND DIAGNOSTIC DATA

Device model, OS version, app version
Motion and sensor signals used for optional experimental ACFD beta testing (only if user opts in to ACFD)
Movement tracking data (acceleration magnitude) for Last Ping escalation reset detection (only when Last Ping monitoring is active)
Battery level and device state for Last Ping context-based triggering and fast-track activation (only when Last Ping monitoring is active)
Vehicle stop time and inactivity duration for Last Ping graduated escalation (only when Last Ping monitoring is active)
Emergency alert presentation state, such as whether the app wakes the screen, shows over the lock screen, or brings the emergency interface to the foreground during safety workflows
App diagnostics such as crash/error and connectivity metadata

NOTE: ACFD sensor monitoring only occurs if user explicitly enables the optional experimental ACFD beta feature. ACFD is a free experimental bonus separate from core subscription features. Users may disable ACFD at any time while retaining full access to core Manual SOS and SAR coordination features.

NOTE: Last Ping Failsafe is a free experimental safety net that activates when ACFD is enabled. Last Ping monitoring (battery level, movement patterns, vehicle stop time) occurs only during potential emergency scenarios (ACFD disarm plus prolonged inactivity or critical battery plus no movement). Last Ping data collection is minimal and temporary, used exclusively for graduated escalation logic. Disabling ACFD also disables Last Ping monitoring.

2.4 EMERGENCY AND COMMUNICATION DATA

SOS/session lifecycle records (activation, status, resolution)
Emergency notification metadata and response status
In-app emergency/SAR coordination message metadata and related delivery state
Carrier/SMS delivery context required for emergency contact alerting (for example carrier-dependent delivery state)

2.5 SUBSCRIPTION AND BILLING DATA

Subscription plan, entitlement state, and billing status metadata
Payment transaction metadata required for subscription management

Payment card details are processed by payment providers/platform billing flows. REDP!NG does not store full raw card numbers.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We process information to:

Provide SOS/SAR safety and emergency coordination functions (core subscription features)
Alert configured emergency contacts and support responder workflows
Operate optional experimental ACFD beta testing (only if user opts in) including waking the device, surfacing emergency UI, and continuing emergency countdown or activation behavior when configured by the service design
Collect performance telemetry for experimental ACFD capabilities improvement (false positive/negative rates, detection accuracy) when user voluntarily participates in ACFD beta testing
Authenticate users and secure accounts
Deliver and manage subscription-entitled features
Maintain reliability, performance, and operational security
Meet legal, regulatory, and incident-response obligations

IMPORTANT: ACFD is an optional experimental beta feature separate from core subscription. Users who do not enable ACFD will not have sensor data collected for detection purposes. Core Manual SOS features operate independently of ACFD.

4. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

Where applicable (for example GDPR/UK GDPR), we rely on one or more legal bases:

Performance of a contract (providing requested app services)
Legitimate interests (service security, fraud prevention, and reliability)
Consent (where required by law or platform policy)
Compliance with legal obligations

5. HOW AND WHEN WE SHARE DATA

REDP!NG does not sell personal data.

We may share data:

5.1 EMERGENCY SHARING

With user-configured emergency contacts when SOS/safety workflows are triggered
With authorized SAR/responder coordination workflows for active incidents
With service providers required to deliver emergency-related notifications and coordination workflows

5.2 SERVICE PROVIDERS

With processors/vendors supporting infrastructure, notifications, messaging, analytics, billing, and customer support

5.3 LEGAL AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

When required by law, legal process, or to protect users/public safety

5.4 CORPORATE TRANSACTIONS

In merger/acquisition/asset-transfer scenarios, subject to applicable legal safeguards

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain data only as long as required for service operation, safety, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and legitimate business purposes.

Typical retention windows:

Emergency/SOS operational records: up to 7 years
Location/communication operational records: up to 2 years unless a longer period is legally required
Account/profile data: until account deletion and completion of legal/operational retention obligations

Retention periods may vary by jurisdiction and lawful requests.

7. SECURITY MEASURES

We implement technical and organizational safeguards, including:

Encryption in transit
Access controls and least-privilege controls
Monitoring and logging for security and operational integrity

No system can guarantee absolute security, but we continuously maintain and improve safeguards.

8. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Data may be processed in jurisdictions other than the user's country. Where required, appropriate transfer safeguards are applied under applicable law.

9. USER RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Depending on applicable law, users may request:

Access to personal data
Correction of inaccurate data
Deletion of eligible data
Data export/portability where applicable
Restriction or objection to certain processing where legally available

Users may also manage app/device permissions (for example location and notifications) in app and device settings.

10. CHILDREN AND AGE

REDP!NG is intended for users age 13 and older. Where required by local law, users below the age of majority should use REDP!NG with parent/guardian consent and oversight.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

REDP!NG uses third-party services and SDKs to provide core capabilities (for example authentication, cloud services, notifications, maps/location services, billing). Their data practices are governed by their own terms and policies.

12. POLICY CHANGES

This policy may be updated periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date and, where required, by additional notice or consent.

14. IMPORTANT EMERGENCY DISCLAIMER

During active emergency workflows, REDP!NG may automatically share relevant safety data (including location and emergency profile context) with configured emergency contacts and responder coordination workflows to support incident response.

OPTIONAL ACFD BETA: If user explicitly enables the experimental ACFD beta feature, REDP!NG may automatically wake the screen, display over the lock screen, play emergency alarm audio, and bring the emergency interface to the foreground so the device can present the emergency state even if the user cannot manually unlock or navigate the phone. ACFD is a free experimental bonus feature separate from core subscription. Users may disable ACFD at any time while retaining full Manual SOS functionality.

REDP!NG uses network-first delivery with carrier SMS fallback for emergency contact alerting. On supported carriers and devices, SMS may be routed through carrier satellite coverage; this behavior is carrier/platform managed and not guaranteed by app-level native satellite APIs.

REDP!NG is a safety coordination tool and does not universally guarantee automatic contact with official emergency numbers (for example 911/112/999) in all jurisdictions, network conditions, or device states. If immediate emergency assistance is required, contact local emergency services directly whenever possible.

REDP!NG does not automatically place emergency voice calls to official emergency numbers due to platform and policy restrictions. Users or emergency contacts must manually place emergency calls when needed.

CORE PRODUCT: Manual SOS activation, emergency contact alerts, and SAR coordination are the primary subscription features and are the only reliable methods for emergency communication. ACFD experimental beta testing is optional and provided as a free bonus with no warranty of detection accuracy.
