Delete Your REDP!NG Account
We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your REDP!NG account and all associated data at any time.
⚠️ Important: This Action Cannot Be Undone
Deleting your account is permanent. Once processed, you will lose access to:
- Your emergency profile and account settings
- Configured emergency contacts
- Subscription and billing history
- Historical SOS session records
- SAR responder credentials (if applicable)
Active emergency sessions: If you have an active SOS session, it will be terminated when your account is deleted. Ensure all emergencies are resolved before requesting deletion.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
Account deletion will permanently remove:
- Profile Data: Name, email, phone number, emergency profile details
- Account Settings: Preferences, configurations, notification settings
- Emergency Contacts: All configured emergency contact information
- Location Data: Historical GPS data from SOS sessions
- Session History: SOS activation records, timestamps, and emergency data
- Subscription Data: Billing history, payment metadata (not card details)
- Device Data: Sensor data, diagnostics, app activity logs
Data Retention for Legal Compliance
Some data may be retained for a limited period to comply with legal obligations:
- Emergency Records: SOS sessions may be retained for up to 7 years for legal, safety, and dispute resolution purposes
- Financial Records: Subscription and billing metadata may be retained as required by tax and financial regulations
- Anonymous Analytics: De-identified usage data may be retained for service improvement
After the legal retention period, all remaining data will be permanently deleted.
Processing Timeline
Step 1 — Submit Request: Email us at the address below with your deletion request
Step 2 — Identity Verification: We will verify your identity within 1-2 business days
Step 3 — Account Deletion: Your account will be deleted within 30 days of verification
Step 4 — Confirmation: You will receive email confirmation once deletion is complete
Request Deletion of Specific Data Without Deleting Your Account
If you want REDP!NG to delete specific eligible data but keep your account active, email alromn7@gmail.com and tell us what you want removed.
- Examples: emergency contacts, optional emergency profile details, support/diagnostic submissions, or other eligible profile data
- Verification: we may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing the request
- Retention limits: data that must be kept for legal, safety, tax, security, or dispute-resolution reasons may be retained until those obligations expire
We review eligible partial-deletion requests under our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Alternative: Temporarily Disable Your Account
If you're not sure about permanently deleting your account, consider these alternatives:
- Sign Out: Simply sign out of the app to stop using the service temporarily
- Disable ACFD: Turn off crash/fall detection in Settings if you're concerned about background monitoring
- Cancel Subscription: Cancel your paid subscription while keeping your account for emergency use
You can return to these options anytime without losing your emergency contacts and profile.
